Early Life
Patrick Duffy was born on March 17, 1949, in Townsend, Montana. He is the youngest of two children born to Terrence and Marie Duffy. His parents owned local taverns where Duffy spent much of his early life.
Career
Duffy began his acting career in the 1970s, appearing in several television series and films. However, his breakthrough role came in 1978 when he was cast as Bobby Ewing in the CBS primetime soap opera Dallas.
