DeMar DeRozan Signs Lucrative Contract with Chicago Bulls

Multi-Year Deal Cements Star's Future in Windy City

DeRozan Inks $85 Million Extension

In a major move that signals the Chicago Bulls' commitment to competing for a championship, DeMar DeRozan has agreed to a three-year, $85 million contract extension. The deal, which includes $81.9 million guaranteed, will keep the NBA All-Star in Chicago through the 2025-26 season.

"DeMar has been a cornerstone of our success in recent years," said Bulls general manager Marc Eversley. "His leadership, work ethic, and competitive spirit are invaluable to our team. We're thrilled to have him under contract for the foreseeable future."

DeRozan, who averaged 27.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game last season, expressed his excitement about staying in Chicago. "The Bulls are my home now," he said. "I love playing in front of our fans and being a part of this community. I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue my career here and help us achieve our goals."

The contract extension comes as the Bulls prepare for the upcoming NBA season with a renewed sense of optimism. With DeRozan leading the way, the team believes they have the potential to challenge for an Eastern Conference championship.
